WHAT WE DO:
Here the list of all procedures which we normally perform to upgrade a customer’s DPSS original laser module into SLD laser module:
1. Inspection for damage of all external components (body, PCB, cable, connector etc.) and thorough cleaning of the Laser module before opening.
2. Replacement of all internal optical elements with new ones with the best characteristics.
3. Removal of all exhausted original components from the laser module to replace them with new and up-to-date parts made especially for us.
4. New extra Control PCB installation inside of a laser module.
5. On the certain types of modules, we perform all necessary actions with a laser module’s EEPROM (reprogram data) to clear all errors and restore original data to achieve the best performance.
6. We start the Laser module to adjust it to meet or even exceed the original specifications:
6.1. Optical power output adjustment.
6.2. Beam position alignment (we use a special ‘optical table’ with ‘smart’ targets) adjustment.
6.3. Beam quality adjustment.
6.4. Beam focus adjustment.
7. We perform a Laser Non-Stop Test for 24 hours to watch the stability of all output values.
If during the test found no significant discrepancies in the specified parameters, we prepare the laser for transportation:
7.1. Input all data of each laser module in our Registry Database.
7.2. Print out the warranty card.
7.3. Pack the module.
8. Call out a courier.
9. Send the shipping information to the customer for tracking of the parcel.

Our SLD module consists of a few elements:
– Laser diode Mount
– Internal Optical unit
– Integrated Laser driver
The small numbers of components reduce the risk to have components defective.
Such way we receive a long lifetime of our SLD module.
